I still seem to find it hard to pick up any 1940s patterns or maybe its just that there is so few of them a round and there is many people looking for them.Ebay has some but am making this my last resort as they can be expensive.Then on another thought if i mixed sleeves and necklines i could come up with fresh ideas from patterns i already have.
On the up i have made a good dent in my christmas shopping and another plus i have been busy wrapping it up a few more things to get and wrap then just my cards to do and am done.

Its been so long
Well i have had some time away from sewing and writing and must say i do miss my 1940s styles so am back and i have been bust catching up on my fav blogs my happy sewing place and casy mustangs not i have to decide what id like to sew up next ! how has everyone been.

Am back

Belt it...
Hi how is everyone today the sun is out. I think that makes us all happy
Todays task is to try and mend a belt that i got its the buckle the front part seems to be missing its a slip through so there is no pin dose anyone know what i could use to fill it in or any ideas what can be done with this??
I was on the blog by handmade jane she dose make some lovely goods i love the fact that she had the little lables. I think its a must that i get my hands on some of them.

Is spring here at last....?
Well we had snow on tuesday sunshine on wed and today we have so far had rain and now sunshine so i now think spring might just be round the corner. so on that note dose anyone know how to work out a colour table?? i have seen this on a few blogs but am not sure how its done.
Also going to a ww2 show this afternoon this should be fun :-) and i also think i might hit town before the show and see what i can thrift.
